Spooky October
In music class this October, we have been learning some spooky songs and stories. Some favourites have been "Stirring the Brew", "Who Took the Cookie from the Trick-or-Treat Bag?" and "We Are Skeletons". Everyone enjoyed setting the book The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything to music. Students chose instruments to match the sound effects in the story, such as drums for the shoes that go "clomp, clomp" and egg shakers for the shirt that goes, "shake, shake". Then we sang the song that was written about the book and played along on our instruments. You can listen to the song at home (see below).
