Storytelling With Music
This month in music has been fun and exciting!
Kindergarten
The kindergarten students have been starting to learn all about the percussion instruments. Each week we have learned about a new instrument paired with a farm animal. So far the rhythm sticks, wood blocks, cowbells, and maracas have been a big hit. We have also been getting up to move, sing and dance!
Grade 1 & 2
The Grade One and Two students are busy creating a puppet show with musical accompaniment based on the Three Little Pigs. They have been hard at work choosing instruments, practicing the script and building our set. They look forward to presenting their show to the kindergarten students.

Our Grade Two choir has had two rehearsals and they sound wonderful! We hope you will join us at the Remembrance Day Assembly on November 9th to hear them sing. The link below is to the choir song for that day if your child would like to practice at home.
